Bon Appétit ...

Le plus grand faible des hommes, c'est l'amour qu'ils ont de la vie.
~Man's greatest weakness is his love of life~

My time in Paris so far has been filled with nothing but love, both in the generosity and humanity of family and in good food. The French sure know how to enjoy life. Since my time here, all I have done is eaten traditional vietnamese food, sampled the great strawberries (accompanied by incredible fresh cream), savoured the fromage with french bread and have drunken lots of wine and champagne (including Moet). The French sure produce good food. I think by the time I leave in a few days time I won't be walking out the door, but rolling out of it at full speed!
Today Aunty Phuong, Uncle Guy and I spent the day exploring Paris using the Hop-on Hop-off bus service. First stop was La tour Eiffel. We waited in line for about an hour, but it was definately worth the wait. The views of Paris from this magnificent monument is a sight that has to be seen.

The rest of the afternoon was spent walking around the city.

Once home we were greeted with...you guessed it...more food and drinks! Spending time with my family has been great and it has reinforced the notion that we should focus on what we have and make the most of it.

Until next time,
Bon Appetit!
